Eighteen feet of black Cadillac laid flat on the ground. It does not so much arrive as loom.
The Story
Blacked out to the bumpers — chrome, trim and fins all gone the same colour, so the only thing catching light is the shape itself.
The fins on this generation were already funeral-procession territory. Dropping it to the floor and killing the chrome finishes the thought.
