1985 Chevrolet CUCV
Wyatts' Wildling
Genuine military issue, still wearing its unit numbers. The only build here that left the factory this colour.
The Story
The Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle was Chevrolet's contract answer to the military wanting a truck any motor pool could keep alive.
The camouflage and the unit markings are how it served, and they stay. Everything else is up for discussion — this one is barely started.
The Weird Part
Every other vehicle on this list was built for a road. This one was built for somewhere nobody wanted to be sent.
